Diversification into new services and products can guarantee staying power in today's volatile forms market. It's a reality that's almost universally accepted in the industry. With all of this in mind, Form Flo developed the AV-PRO line for the business forms and direct mail industries. The modular design permits in-line or off-line operation, and can be used as a freestanding unit or integrated with a press, collator, or processor. The versatility and flexibility of the AV-PRO line are a result of the virtually unlimited configurations possible by combining the individual modules. In this article, we are going to take a quick look at two especially efficient products – the SM500 Sheeter, and the PD500 High Pile Delivery.

The SM500 Sheeter module features a unique Form Flo design for variable sheeting of single or multiple webs with gap-out capability. It is available with a mechanical or electronic drive cut-off head for virtually unlimited variable sheeting. Cut-off sizes of 4 to 17 inches can be accommodated, and the maximum web width is 20 inches. Gap-out E-bars are available for gap-out sizes of 1/8-, 1/4-, and 1/3-inch, permitting the cutting of DIN A4 portrait and landscape sheets. An optional gap-out crimp unit is available to produce cut-sets from collated webs or stacks. 

The PD500 High Pile Delivery module provides an excellent high volume, economical approach to the efficient handling of cut sheet products. Designed to accept either single or multiple streams of finished cut pieces, it offers hands-free operation. Innovative and user-friendly, the PD500 reduces down time, waste, and operator frustration.
